In Loving Memory of my Dad
Lawrence Robert Dolenuck
May 10, 1949 – October 13, 2026
Lawrence “Laurie” Robert Dolenuck, my dad was a strong, hard man who loved his family. Beneath his tough exterior was a heart filled with love and loyalty for the people who meant the most to him. He was a man who stood by his family, loved fiercely, and cared in his own way.
Laurie shared 44 years of marriage to his loving wife Lenora Dolenuck who though the good times and difficult ones, she remained faithfully by his side, a constant source of love, strength, and support. Together, they built a life filled with memories, family, and love. He was a proud father to four sons, a daughter, a son-in-law, and a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren, all to whom held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind his big brother and many nieces and nephews who were part of his extended family and his life.
Laurie was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved camping, fishing and hunting, finding happiness in the outdoors and in the simple pleasures of life. He also enjoyed having a snickle with his friends, sharing time, stories, and companionship. These moments made him happy.
There is also a very special family who held an exceptionally dear place in my dad’s heart and in ours. Their kindness, love, patience, and unwavering support over the years meant more to him than words could ever express. He loved them dearly, and the place they held in his life and heart will never be forgotten. They were a meaningful part of his journey and we are forever grateful.
Laurie was not a perfect man, nor did he pretend to be, He was a man with a strong spirit, a tough exterior, and a heart that loved his own without limits. Those who knew him will remember him for who he was, the life he lived, the memories he made.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service held. Laurie will be lovely remembered and forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rest Easy Lawrence (Dad). You will always be loved, and in our hearts forever.
