Margrit Hausammann, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface, Winnipeg, MB.

Born in Switzerland on September 22, 1963, Margrit lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and a truly beautiful heart. In 1984, she made the journey to Winnipeg, Canada, where she began a new chapter of her life.

Those fortunate enough to know Margrit will forever remember her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel loved, welcomed, and valued. Her gentle nature, generous spirit, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone whose life she touched.

Throughout her life, Margrit faced the challenges of multiple sclerosis with remarkable grace, strength, and positivity. Even through the most difficult moments, she never lost the beautiful spirit that made her so special. Her resilience, courage, and ability to find joy in life’s simplest moments were an inspiration to those around her.

Margrit was predeceased by her loving parents, Marie and Hans Rudolf, her great-niece, baby Charlotte, and her dear friend Scotty.

She leaves behind her siblings, Therese, Katharina, Rudolf, and Werner, along with her beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, and many cherished friends. She will be especially remembered by those who shared in her life, surrounded her with love, and treasured the beautiful person she was.

Margrit will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. Her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and the love she so freely gave will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface 2ABC for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided Margrit throughout the last four years of her life.
