Obituary

In loving memory of Janet Martha Callaghan, 59 years of age, who passed away suddenly in the early morning of August 22, 2020 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her three daughters and their families, her parents, her 5 sisters, 1 brother and their families.

Janet was born December 18, 1960 in Steinbach, MB. to Peter and Annette Friesen. She spent the early years of her life devoted to her family and in her later years her family devoted to her, as she battled Multiple Sclerosis. She was strong in her character whose love for her family, friends, and animals (mostly cats) shone through.

A private viewing for immediate family will be held at Crossings Funeral Care from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2020.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to all the staff at Grunthal Menno Home for their kindness and compassionate care.
