Obituary

Betty Stahn, age 71, of Kleefeld, MB, passed away peacefully, at the end of a painful illness on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband Walter, children: Rodney, Barbara & Theo, Wesley & Diane, Kimberly & Quentin; her grandchildren: Christopher, Jonathan, Teressa, Brittney, Kristin, Tyler, Riley, Damian; great-grandson Gunnar along with many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Penner; brothers John and Dave; sisters: Jean, Nettie, Eva, and Evelina; parents-in-law Alfred and Agnes; brothers-in-law: Ed, Aaron, Henry, Melvin, Bernie, Dickie; along with her sister-in-law Wally.

Betty’s family would like to thank all the homecare workers who cared for her, as well as all the nurses and doctors at the various hospitals who looked after her throughout various illnesses and hospital stays throughout her life.

The public come and go viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm for all that wish to attend at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Masks preferred.

An invitation only funeral service will be held due to health precautions; however, everyone is welcome to live stream the event. Please visit Birchwood website for details.
