Grandpa will be missed and is survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by three brothers, one sister and one sister-in-law.
Jake was predeceased by his parents Jacob J and Helen Hiebert, his brother Henry, sister Martha and son-in-law John Harder.
Dad was born October 22, 1930. The son of Jacob J and Helen Hiebert. Dad seemed to have a need to be on the move. During their married life, Dad and Mom moved approximately 40 times. They lived in Winnipeg, Grunthal, Hochstadt, Ridgeville, Greenland and Steinbach and many places in between. Dad was always drawn back to farming, although he had many different jobs. He worked at the sugar beet factory, picking up cream and milk, building construction and farming. Dad and Mom owned farms in various communities such as Macgregor, a dairy farm in Grunthal and hog farms in both Grunthal and Greenland.
We will miss you so much Dad. You were loved!
