Obituary

Rudolf Friesen of Blumenort, MB., passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his workplace.

He is survived by four daughters, one son, 11 grandchildren, four sisters, and two brothers.

He was predeceased by his parents, Peter & Nettie Friesen, one brother, one sister and one brother-in-law.

Rudolf was baptized upon confession of his faith in Jesus Christ in May of 1983. He grew up in Paraguay and made a move with his family to Canada in 1993. He was a hard worker and dedicated his life to his jobs that he had, especially the last eight years at BVT Truck & Trailer Repair as a trailer mechanic. He really enjoyed working there. He will be missed by many co-workers, family & friends.

A come & go viewing will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Please stay in your vehicles until directed inside.

The private family live streamed memorial will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. You are invited to join the family via livestream shortly before the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rudolf may be made to Birchwood Funeral Chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.
