Obituary

Luc Dandenault, aged 88 years, of St-Pierre-Jolys, MB passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Repos Jolys Personal Care Home.

Luc was predeceased by his beloved wife Irène, parents Lévi and Laurette and brother Charles.

Luc will be lovingly remembered by his children: Renée and Maurice Laroche (Léo, Danielle, Michel); Doris and Richmond Gosselin (Éric, Rémi, Mélanie); Louise and Daniel Alarie; Alain and Pat Dandenault

(Kelsey, Tyler) and his grandchildren: Cody, Jessie, Nico, Mia, Thomas, Taylor, Parker, Weston, Mateo, Emma; he will be missed by his siblings: Pauline, Lise, Édith, Ronald, Joanne and many nephews and nieces.

Luc will always be known for being the proprietor of “Le Routier Drive-Inn”. For over 30 years he enjoyed working with his staff and meeting people from different communities. He also managed to be fully committed to his parish as a Knight of Columbus and adding his beautiful voice to the church choir.

Luc was also involved as a town councillor and loved helping out at the annual parish supper.

Luc and Irène enjoyed retired life, travelling in their RV, spending winters in Arizona, playing golf and daily cribbage games.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the Repos Jolys who provided exceptional love and care of Luc in his final years.

Cremation has taken place.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
