Obituary

Peacefully with his mother by his side, Stefan Joseph Wipf age 21, passed away in a loving and caring environment at the St. Boniface hospital on May 8, 2021 at 8:00 am.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Clara his grandfather John and uncle John.

Left to cherish his life and memory are; his mother Elizabeth, father Garry, siblings Larissa (Jeff), Garrett, Janessa, Jerome, Bradley, grandma and grandpa from Homewood colony, as well as his niece, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The most notable accomplishment in Stefan’s life, is that he graduated from grade 12 just last year, he has always been the brightest child I’ve ever known and learned so much but at the same time he taught everyone so much.

A celebration of life for Stefan Joseph Wipf will be held at 12:00 on Friday the 14th 2021, at Crossings Funeral Care, Steinbach, Manitoba. A recording of the service will be made available on the obituary page following the service.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the officiant and staff that made this process much easier.

They call him a special needs child,
and that’s okay I guess,
but special-blessings child
is the name I think fits best.

He cannot tie his shoes or walk to school alone.
Will he do with them someday?
That is yet unknown.

So he does have special needs.
That is surely true.
But let me tell you,
now all the things that he can do.

He can give a great big hug
that will melt your heart away.
He can laugh,
the greatest laugh that will brighten the darkest day.

He has taught me patience, caring and faith.
He gives me joy and love.
These are very special blessings that can come from only above.

God knew what he was doing
when he made our little Stefan.
he’s a special-blessings child
sent down straight from heaven.
