Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Louis Poirier (Jan. 9, 1955 – December 3, 2017). He is survived by his wife Diane of 26 years; his Dad Omer; daughter Shelly and her daughters: Téa, and Annique; daughter Lynne and her son Rérni; step-son Michel and his son Aurum; step-daughter Monique and her son Otis; his brothers: Gilbert (Micheline), Maurice, Edmond, Roger (Dianne), and Denis (Alice) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Marguerite and his sister Diane.

A special thank you to Dr. Karen Toews, the staff on the second floor at Bethesda Hospital and also the staff at CancerCare in Steinbach, for their excellent care of Louis during his battle with mesothelioma cancer.
