After a brief illness, Vivienne passed away at Action Marguerite St. Boniface, at the age of 94 years old.
She is survived by her children, Aurele (Patty), Solange (Gérald) Lapointe, Jacques (Heather), Luc (Jacqueline), Louis (Marie), daughter-in-law Murielle Dyck, 14 grand-children, 28 great grand-children, 2 great great grand-children, brothers Ernest, Maurice, sisters Sr. Imelda, Sr. Solange, numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Vivienne was predeceased by Roland and son René.
If there was anything that Mom enjoyed was receiving family and friends for a meal. No one could leave without a care package. It was probably her homemade cinnamon buns, bread (which was delicious and she was known for), perogies, canned food, handmade quilt or various knitted articles. She loved giving away the fruits of her labour.
Due to COVID restrictions a service will be held in October, date to be determined.
Cremation has taken place.
The family wishes to thank the staff on 3 DE for the care given to her at Action Marguerite St. Boniface. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Manitoba Brain Association.
