Obituary

Irene Reimer (nee Maximchuk), of Steinbach, formerly of Swan River, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, with her family around her, on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, at the age of 66.

Irene is survived by her husband Gordon, daughter Kristen, and son Brett (wife Elenita), as well as her sister Linda (Ken McKenna), niece Tiffany (Josh McKenna), grandniece Trinity, grandnephew Aiden, sister-in-law Raymonde (David Tickner), nephew Mark (Yao), grandnephew Malik, grandniece Emily, niece Kiran (Sam Roberge), as well as her grandpuppy Teddy.

Remembered for her strong faith, selfless love of others, and great words of wisdom, Irene will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Maximchuk in 1992, and father, Metro Maximchuk, in 2008.

The celebration of life service for Irene will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Steinbach, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach MB, with viewing prior to the service. An ash internment will follow at a later date.
