Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Bernhard Penner announce his passing on Wednesday, November 5, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Bernhard will be missed by his wife Maria, daughter Erna (Henry), son Alvin (Esti), son Ronald, grandchildren Vanessa, Billy, Logan, Bianca, and Waylon, five great-grandchildren, brothers Henry (Jennifer), Ed (Debbie), John (Bonnie) and Peter, sisters Mary, Anna (Gerry), Erna (Charles) and Caroline (Gerd) and sister-in-law Agnes.

Bernhard was predeceased by his parents Ben and Cornelia Penner, brother Tony and sisters Adina and Eva.

Bernhard was born on April 14, 1944, in Colony Menno, Paraguay.

The livestreamed funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
