Obituary

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Stafford Pearse, age 92 years of Dominion City, Manitoba. Stan passed away peacefully, on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Emerson Health Centre after a short illness.

Stan leaves to mourn his loving wife of 70 years Audrey, daughters Sandra (Gerald), Jill (Rob), son Terry (Kim). Grandchildren Brooke (Brett), Angela (Ronnie), Amber (Ryan), Kirby (Jarrett), Cody (Krystle), Landon (Larissa), Kiley (Ashley), Destine (Brad), Taurean (Jenn), Colin (Meghan), Shea (Liz). Great grandchildren Braelynn, Brayden, Jeremy, Jordan, Averi, Quinn, Jaiden, Cohen, Brea, Paislee, Paxtyn, Kash, Hudson, Korbin, Easton, and Colter. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Stan lived his whole life in Dominion City where he was an outstanding community member. If he wasn’t participating, he was there cheering everyone on. Being an avid curler and golfer, he curled and golfed well into his late 80’s. He was loved by his whole family and was a friend to all he met. He will be missed.

A special thanks to the staff at Altona Hospital, Emerson Health Centre, and Dr. Terry for the exceptional care that Stan received.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
