Obituary

Surrounded by those he loved, Ruben Fehr passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, at the age of 91.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife Anna Fehr (née Funk), son Al Fehr (Susan), daughter Debra Plett (Michael), grandchildren Brianna, Elly (Matthew), Jonathan (Sara), Shaylyn and Christianne, as well as great-grandchildren Emery and August.

He is also survived by siblings Sarah, Harry and Lil.

He was predeceased by his parents Henry B. and Sarah Fehr, siblings Hannah, Herman, Ike, Ernie and Rudy, daughter in law Brenda, and his beloved grandson Nicholas.

Ruben had an adventurous life, filled with love of family and friends and punctuated by laughter.

Please join us for a celebration of Ruben’s life on Monday, September 29th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Canoe Club Living Centre, 40 Dunkirk Drive, Winnipeg, MB.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful team at Poseidon Long-Term Care Home for the love and care they provided to Ruben over this last year and a half.
