Obituary
Tiny Vos, aged 77 years, of Kleefeld, MB., passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, in her home.
Tiny was predeceased by her husband Wim and is survived by her three sons. Jasper and his wife Aukje together with their four children. Rochelle and Matthew with their children Raelynn and Reid, Heather and Austin with their children Nolan and Luke, Esther with the twins Amaya and Maverick, and Kevin and Bryanna.
Nico and his wife Carin together with their two children. Lars and Shaylin, and Nine and Jonathan with their children Micah, Thomas and Hannah.
Wilfrid and his wife Jennifer and their three children, Emily and Kyle, Carson and Alanna.
Tiny was born in the Netherlands in May 1948 as the fourth child of Nicolaas and Cornelia Burggraaf. Sister to Piet, Riet, Gerrit, Teunie, Henk, Nico, Bas and Peter.
They grew up in a loving family in Leerdam in the Netherlands. In 1967 Tiny met Wim, and got married in 1969. They raised their three sons in the Netherlands.
In July 1991, they went to Alberta to visit Jasper who worked for a year as an exchange student. At the end of his visit, and talking to a knowledgeable and encouraging dairy farmer, they decided together with their children, to immigrate with the financial help of family and friends. After 10 years milking cows in Alberta it was time for the next challenge… Manitoba. The beginning was far from easy but with the words of Joshua 1:9, For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. There was always a certainty that God cared and was in control.
In January 2024, Tiny was diagnosed with cancer. Tiny faced every challenge with courage and faith. She found her strength in Psalm 62:6 “He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.”

The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with reception to follow.
The interment will take place at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB., following the reception.
