Micheline Raymonde Marie Dittbrenner (née Vermette), a woman of gentle kindness and compassion passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025 at the age of 53, surrounded by her family at Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, after a battle of lengthy illness. Born on July 5, 1972, in Morris, Manitoba, Micheline’s life journey was one spent in devotion to her family and friends.

She was the adored wife of Eckhard, with whom she shared an unwavering bond of love and partnership. Together they raised their daughter, Melony (Cody), instilling in her the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family. Micheline was the daughter of Paulette, who survives her, and of her late father, Roger. She was also a loving sister to her brothers, Rossel (Michelle) and Ronald (Jody). Micheline was warmly loved by her in-laws, Gerhard and Erna, and by her sister-in-law Karin (Ray). She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Tamara (Matt), Heidi (Dario), Sage, André, Cedar, Madelaine and Willow and a great aunt to Austin and Casey.

An avid shopper, Micheline took delight in seeking out the perfect gifts for her loved ones, a testament to her thoughtfulness and generosity. Her passion for dining out was more than a mere interest, it was an opportunity to savour life’s flavors and to create lasting memories with friends and family around the table.

Micheline had a way of making you feel special. She possessed a truly remarkable memory, holding onto the details of people’s lives in a way that made them feel valued. Remembering the little things was her quiet way of showing love. Her ability to look at the good in everyone and never show judgment was honourable. Spending time with Micheline made one want to be a better person. Her caring soul of compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.

Micheline’s spirit, her love, and the joy she brought to our lives will forever be etched in our hearts. Her journey on earth may have reached its sunset, but the warmth of her presence will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those who knew her. As we move forward, we honour her amazing qualities by carrying them with us, knowing the world would be a much better place with more people like Micheline in it.
