Obituary

Clifford Brandt passed away peacefully at his home in Niverville, Manitoba on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the age of 92 years.

He is survived by Mary, his wife of 69 years, and his 3 children Sandra (Denis Garand) of Regina SK, Valdine (Markus Borchert) of Winnipeg MB, and Kevin of Howden MB, as well as 4 grandchildren Heidi, Richard, Elise, and Julie Garand, and 6 great-grandchildren, He is also survived by sisters Frances (Alec) Hiebert, Mabel (Vic Enns) Hiebert, Elma Brandt, and Lillian (Abe) Friesen.

He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Katharine Brandt, brother Reuben (Mary – deceased) Brandt, sisters Marianne (Clint) Lawrie and Adina (John – deceased) Sawatzky, and brother-in-law Pete Hiebert.

A devoted husband and father, Cliff was a calm and steady presence in all our lives.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, 3:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing starting at 2:30 pm.
