Obituary
Ina Bassa, age 81, of La Broquerie, Manitoba, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
Ina was predeceased by her husband Piet and is survived by her daughter and two sons;

Ina was born in the Netherlands on October 13, 1944 as the third child of a family of three siblings.
She grew up on a farm in Krimpen aan del Ijssel.
At the age of 21 she moved to Lexmond and met Piet Bassa. They got married in August 1965 and started farming. They moved to Dalen in 1975 and farmed for many years there. In 1991 they moved to La Broquerie and started farming with their two sons.
When Piet and Ina retired, they started traveling together, they both really enjoyed doing cruises together, Alaskan and European cruises and traveling to other places around the world.
The celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at CD Trees 28141 MUN Rd 35E, Steinbach, MB., with reception to follow.
