Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Fernand Lemoine on July 30, 2026, at the age of 86.

Fernand will be lovingly remembered by his dear wife, Simone of 63 years; his children, Leo (Jackie), Pauline (Randy), and Nicole (Ken); his grandchildren, Candace (Kyle) and Stephanie (Bryce); his cherished great-grandchildren, Anika, Ryder, Oliver, Cruz, Brody, and Max; as well as his extended family and many dear friends.

Fernand was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His greatest joy was spending time with those he loved. He cherished visits with family and friends and was always ready to share a conversation, a laugh, or a story. Known for his warm smile and gentle nature, he brought happiness to everyone around him. He especially enjoyed playing cards and games, and music was always close to his heart. Fernand loved to sing and truly carried a song in his heart.

Fernand was predeceased by his parents, Benoit and Lucienne Lemoine; his siblings, René, Claire, and Jean-Paul; and many beloved in-laws, relatives, and dear friends who went before him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Villa Youville for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion they showed Fernand over the past four years. Sincere thanks are also extended to Dr. De Moissac for his compassionate care and support.

The memorial service for Fernand will be held on Tuesday August 18th, 2026 at 2pm. at Ste. Anne Des Chenes Parish- 162 Central Ave. Ste. Anne, Mb.
