Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shane Devon Wiebe, who passed away on August 17, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 37.

Shane was born on November 6, 1988, in Steinbach, Manitoba, to Alan and Cindy Wiebe. As the oldest child, Shane held a special place in his family and was a loving brother to his sisters, Tiffany (Eric) and Sabrina (Shelby).

He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, Sierra and Tiana, and his nephews, Miles and Dawson, who brought joy and meaning to his life.

Shane was predeceased by his father Alan, and his grandparents.

Shane enjoyed the simple things that made life memorable. He loved spending time camping, getting lost in the world of gaming, and watching movies. These hobbies gave him many moments of relaxation, laughter, and enjoyment with the people around him. Shane will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.

The memorial service for Shane Wiebe will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
