Manitoba RCMP are warning the public about a 38-year-old male suspect from Calgary who may be headed to Winnipeg. The suspect is wanted in connection to an attempted murder investigation.

On March 20, 2022, at approximately 6:15am, Okotoks RCMP were dispatched to a double stabbing at a local campground. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a male and female had been stabbed multiple times. Both victims were transported to hospital and are currently in stable condition.

Police say that the male suspect, 38-year-old Ryan Cameron Bain of Calgary, fled the scene. Bain is currently wanted for two counts of attempted murder, along with other offences.

Ryan Bain is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 194 lbs. He has light coloured skin, brown hair and brown eyes.

RCMP believe that Bain is possibly en route to Winnipeg and the public is advised not to approach him if seen.

RCMP report that Ryan Cameron Bain turned himself in to the Medicine Hat Police Service on March 22, 2022.
