Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify two male suspects who recently shoplifted a quantity of groceries from the Sobeys store located on Highway 12 North in Steinbach.

On April 1, 2023, Steinbach RCMP received a report of shoplifting from the Sobeys grocery store in Steinbach.

Police investigation determined that on March 31, 2023, at approximately 4pm, two unknown male suspects entered the grocery store and at approximately 4:30pm, they walked out of the grocery store with a cart of groceries without paying.

One of the suspects is described as a male Caucasian, approximately in his thirties, with short brown hair. He was noted to be wearing glasses, a burgundy shirt, dark coloured jacket and jeans. The other suspect is described as a male Caucasian, approximately in his thirties, and has a beard. He was wearing a black and green checkered shirt and a black and red hat.

RCMP report that the estimated value of the shoplifted groceries is approximately $250.
