The Hanover Agricultural Society is kicking off a season full of fun with their annual three-day spring rodeo, taking place May 26 to 28, 2017.

This year the Rough Stock Riding School will be hosting Ben Kinkead (a two time CCA Champion), joined by Scott Byrne, as the instructor for bull and steer riding, as well as Scott Byrne for bull fighting. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy speed pattern racing and timed games during the Gymkhana on Friday, May 26 and a one-of-a kind Heartland Rodeo. The event will also include a barbecue and dance on Saturday, May 27.

“We are proud of what the Spring Rodeo has accomplished year by year,” says Curtis Dawydiuk, President of Hanover Agricultural Society. “Our grounds have hosted this event for nearly a decade and it is always a pleasure to see passionate people coming together to celebrate the sport, with a desire to see rodeo grow and flourish in southeast Manitoba. The spring rodeo welcomes families from all across Manitoba to start off the rodeo season and enjoy the events that we have planned.”

The Hanover Agricultural Society says its thankful to the event sponsors for their generous donations, as well as the volunteers, spectators and participants that make all of this possible.
