The City of Steinbach will present its 2017 Financial Plan and will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7pm in the City of Steinbach Council Chambers located at 225 Reimer Avenue in Steinbach.
The 2017 Financial Plan presentation agenda will include the review of the City’s 2017 and 2018 operating budgets, the 2017 capital program, and the long-term capital expenditure program.
Council will hear any person who wishes to make a representation, ask questions or register an objection to the financial plan. Copies of the City’s 2017 Financial Plan will be available for review at City Hall after February 7, 2017, during regular office hours.
Prior to the public hearing, the City invites you to an open house to learn about the capital projects planned for 2017, including Main Street improvements, new water treatment plant, road improvements and new sidewalk program. The open house is taking place at City Hall, 225 Reimer Avenue from 5pm-7pm.
