Island Lake RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing woman from St. Theresa Point First Nation, 32-year-old Destiny Wood.
On September 15, 2025, at 4:35pm, Island Lake RCMP received a report stating that Destiny Wood had gone missing. Destiny was last seen on September 9, at approximately 11pm at her mother’s residence in the community.
Destiny Wood is described as being 5 foot 4 inches tall, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, a tan coloured sweater, along with pink, black and white Nike shoes. Wood has numerous tattoos, most noticeably the word “Ralph” on her left jaw, a dreamcatcher on her right shoulder and a wolf paw on her chest.
Destiny Wood’s family and RCMP are concerned for her safety.
