Oakbank RCMP are asking for public assistance after issuing a silver alert for a missing man from the community, 85-year-old Aubrey Hope.

On October 24, 2025, at approximately 9:45pm, Oakbank RCMP received a report stating that Aubrey Hope had gone missing. Aubrey was last seen leaving his residence near Oakbank at 5:15pm, on October 24, and was traveling to Selkirk to visit a family member in the hospital.

Police say that Aubrey Hope did not arrive at the hospital and has not returned home. It is believed that he may be confused and disoriented.

Aubrey Hope is described as 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and is driving a brown 2015 Toyota Camry with Manitoba license plate DVU 845.

Hope’s family and RCMP are concerned for his safety.
