A total of 10,353 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Manitoba to date. Vaccinations began today in personal care homes across the province through Focused Immunization Teams (FITs). It is expected that all personal care home residents will receive their first vaccine dose within the next 28 days.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10 per cent provincially and 8.8 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 11, 2021, 133 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 26,450.
