The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is six per cent provincially and 3.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on February 5, 2021, 110 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 30,078.

The Manitoba government is partnering with organizations representing Manitoba physicians and pharmacists and their members to prepare for the province’s vaccine rollout of new vaccines once they are approved for use in Canada.

However, one case has been removed due to a data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 125 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 29,858.

The Manitoba government is extending the provincewide state of emergency to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and further protect Manitobans, Infrastructure Minister Ron Schuler, minister responsible for the Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization, announced.

A total of 159 warnings and 56 tickets were issued for the week of Jan. 25 to 31 including 42 $1,296 tickets to individuals for various offences and 14 tickets to individuals for failure to wear a mask in indoor public places.

However, one case has been removed due to a data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 82 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 29,733.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 7.9 per cent provincially and 4.2 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on February 1, 2021, 89 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, two cases have been removed due to a data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 87 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 29,651.
