Community museums and archives can now access up to $25,000 in matching dollars from the new Manitoba Heritage Trust Program.

The Manitoba government is maintaining a balanced approach to providing students a quality education while creating efficiency and controlling costs within the public education system.

Bob Lagassé, MLA for Dawson Trail, welcomed an announcement of funding for community development projects across Manitoba, including in the Dawson Trail constituency.

Bob Lagassé, MLA for Dawson Trail, announced that the Dawson Trail constituency will benefit from community development funding from the province. Recipients of this funding will be eight local programs which will receive a total of $71,855.

The province will be providing more than $2.6 million in grants to projects for non-profit and community-led organizations, community-driven neighbourhood revitalization, and local community development projects.
