Manitoba Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures is advising of five new cases of chronic wasting disease (CWD), including cases in two areas with no prior positive detections: the Rural Municipalities of Swan Valley West and Victoria, in Game Hunting Areas (GHA) 13A and 30.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 41-year-old man from the Rural Municipality (RM) of La Broquerie has recently died as the result of a single-person snowmobile collision that occurred in the area.

Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing woman from Ebb and Flow First Nation, 41-year-old Becky Samantha McIvor.
