The Manitoba government and the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union (MGEU) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) enabling 24-7 winter maintenance operations on Provincial Trunk Highways (PTH) 100 and 101, known as the Perimeter Highway, on an as-needed basis.

The Manitoba government has received updated school safety plans from every division in the province which will allow for a co-ordinated, systemwide approach that enhances security practices, and supports frontline educators and students.
