A 17-year-old male teen, from Dufresne, has recently died after the SUV he was driving hit the ditch on Highway 405, near Lorette, Manitoba.

As a result of heavy rainfall, water levels on reservoirs and lakes, including the Shellmouth Reservoir (Lake of the Prairies), Rivers Dam (Lake Wahtopanah), Minnedosa Dam and Dauphin Lake, could rise by one to three feet over the next few days.

The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) is currently investigating serious injuries related to a collision involving a stolen vehicle in Winnipeg.
