Arrests have been made in connection with a traffic stop conducted by Russell RCMP earlier in March.

On April 3, 2010, Steinbach RCMP with the assistance of the Ste. Anne Police Department, arrested a 19-year-old male and an 18-year-old female in relation to a two week long drug investigation.

In early 2009, RCMP Wasagaming began an investigation into allegations that marijuana was being cultivated at a home in the RM of Clanwilliam, Manitoba.

A house that was once a marijuana grow-op has a chance to become a home again after being forfeited to the province under the Criminal Property Forfeiture Act, Attorney General Andrew Swan announced.

On February 5, 2010, at about 1pm, a Portage la Prairie RCMP member was patrolling the Trans Canada Highway near Road 31 West in Portage la Prairie when a 1997 GMC 2500 truck from Quebec was observed traveling westbound.

Beausejour RCMP and “D” Division Drug Section executed a CDSA Search Warrant at a Garson residence during the evening of February 3, 2010.

On January 28, 2010, in the early morning hours, Norway House RCMP executed a CDSA search warrant at a residence located within Norway House Community.

In early 2009, RCMP Boissevain Customs & Excise Section along with the Manitoba Finance Special Investigation Unit in Brandon, began an investigation into allegations that unstamped cigarettes were being sold in and around the Brandon area.

On December 28, 2009, at about 12 midnight, Portage la Prairie RCMP members on patrol observed a 1998 Mazda pick-up truck driving erratically in the parking lot of the Portage Collegiate Institute.

On December 27, 2009, at about 1:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP on patrol observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on the west end of the 1A Trans Canada Highway in the City of Portage la Prairie.
