Obituary

Henry Van Koeveringe, age 78 years, of Winnipeg, MB., passed away following a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Health Science Centre, Winnipeg, MB.

He is survived by his two daughters, two sons, along with one sister, two brothers and five grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Annie and grandson Mathew.

Henry and Annie were married for 56 wonderful years, during most of that time he was employed at Manitoba Hydro.

He was quite the pool player and some of his other hobbies included baseball, reading, crossword puzzles and taking family vacations.

He was a long-term president and trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with interment to follow at Grunthal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Henry can be made to Canadian Cancer Society – Manitoba Division 193 Sherbrook Street, Wpg, MB R3C 2B7 or to Parkinson Society Manitoba 7-414 Westmount Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2J 1P2.
