Obituary

Anna Friesen, age 77 and 10 days, of Steinbach, MB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, with her loved ones beside her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jacob, of 46 years and 10 months of Steinbach, MB. Also left to mourn her are her four children: Hilda (Andrew) Zajaros; Harry (Sherrilyn) Friesen; Art (Angela) Friesen and Ewald (Marie) Friesen; five sisters; seven brothers; eight grandchildren and numerous in-laws and relatives.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Tina Kehler; one brother, Frank Kehler; two sisters, Erna Kehler and Marie Funk; brother-in-law, Abraham Penner; and one grandson, Dillan Friesen.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses of Bethesda Regional Health Centre for their care.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at New Bothwell Sommerfeld Church, New Bothwell, MB. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.
