Obituary

We are here to tell you, Eva Allen (nee) Wiebe, has joined God’s Family in the Heavens on Sunday, May 31st, 2020.

Her valiant fight to stay with her family and friends was unbelievable! Mom was unshakeable in her Faith, Strength, Generosity and Love for everyone.

Our Beautiful, Funny, Amazing Mom! We cherish every moment we had with you. God has received an Angel. We love you so much and will see you one day in the heavens.

Mom is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Lorne), Laurie, Brenda, Dani (Ron) and son, D.J. (Pauline). She will always be treasured by her loving grandchildren, Tiana (Mark), Jeremy (Jade), Jason (Dina), Scott, Darka (Justin), David (Kellea), Amy, Shanlee (Derek), Randi (Shane), 17 great grandbabies, and one sister, Sara (Abe). She will be in the hearts of many nieces and nephews as their favourite auntie, and by endless friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Dave (Mom was the love of his life) and grandson, Jordan as well as seven sisters, Margaret, Agnes, Marie, Ann, Helen, Kathy, and Susan.

Rest well Mom you deserve it.

For every fear that shakes our peace,
For every night we feel alone,
For every moment we lose a little hope,
There is an Angel who whispers
I am your Mom and I am here

My saviour has taken my hand
The Angels have lifted me high
I am dancing in Heaven now
So hard to say Goodbye
My body was so tired; my spirit so strong
I fought so hard to stay with you
Yet I knew I must move on
For those I leave behind, you know
I have instilled my Faith in ALL of you
My touch, my voice…my love I bestow to
My beautiful girls, my amazing son.
So please be happy, always stay strong
Keep your Spirits; full of hope
Remember. My love surrounds you in song
Angels are with you always to help you cope.

Love, Mom

The family wishes to extend their love and appreciation to all the wonderful Home Care ladies and nurses who were a part of Mom’s daily life over the past 10 years and more frequently over the past 2 and a half months. She loved you all and you loved her back – making the last few weeks of her life as comfortable as possible. Thank you to Dr Jessica Allen for taking such good care of Mom.

A private family burial to take place at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
