Obituary

George Wiens, age 72, of Pansy, MB, passed away following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by two sisters and two brothers.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter M. and Katharina Wiens; three sisters: Tina, Annie, and Margaret; and two brothers: Peter and Jake.

His hobbies included writing songs, playing guitar and he liked dogs.

George would have loved to have become famous with his singing, but his sickness did not let that happen. He wrote his feelings in his music.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at Grunthal Cemetery, Grunthal, MB.
