Obituary

Lucie (Desautels) Gauthier, aged 85, of La Broquerie, MB, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, MB.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Lionel (Gisèle), Marcel(Jacqueline), Mona Audette (Gilbert) and Paul (Joëlle); as well as 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with a ninth one on the way. Her siblings: Raymond (Noella), Henri (Juliette), Edgar (Jackie), Noella Saunders (Stan), Philippe (Léa), Maurice (Linda) and brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Aimé in 2019, her grandson Jérémie Gauthier, her parents Clara (Beaudry) Desautels and Albert Desautels, her sister Rita Vallée, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 with eulogies beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the mass of Christian burial at 1:00 p.m. with Father Robert Laroche officiating.

Ashes will be placed in the columbarium at St. Joachim Parish immediately following the mass.

Due to Covid restrictions there will be no reception held after the service.
