Obituary

On Saturday, November 7, 2020, Aida Tagorda Estioko, a loving wife and mother to her husband Ruben and son Kendall, passed away at the age of 58, after a long struggle with her metastatic breast cancer.

Aida was born on June 5, 1962, in Davao City, Philippines. She finished her High School in Davao City High and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines. Upon graduation, she started to work as a Psychometrician in the College of Immaculate Conception, Davao City. Prior to becoming the Guidance Counsellor of the College, Aida finished her master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling in Ateneo De Davao University. Before immigrating to Canada, she was helping her younger brother in managing the family owned business.

Aida loves to spend time at home decorating, baking goodies and treats to her friends and watching birds in our backyard. She will be remembered by her coworkers in Exceldor/Granny’s Poultry Coop as a beautiful person – inside and out and her husband and son will remember her as very loving, very strong-willed woman, very simple and yet sophisticated in so many ways. She will also be remembered by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and her bosom friends.

A come & go viewing will take place on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., in the east Chapel. The ash interment will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Heritage Cemetery, Loewen Blvd, Steinbach, MB. Due to Covid 19 restrictions please contact the family if you would like to attend the service or graveside.
