Obituary

In loving memory of Margaret Sideen, who passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 90 years.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her children; Sandra Black and her husband, David of Winnipeg; Patricia Freiburger and her husband, Jim of Calgary; Janie Hohn and her husband, Bill, of Edmonton; and, Lori Sideen of Calgary. She was the loving grandma to Scott Hohn, Rhonda Woychuk and her husband Ian, Rachel Hummeny and her husband Daniel and, Colin Black and his wife Ashley. She was great-grandma to David Woychuk and Kate Woychuk, Dorothy Hummeny, and, Braden Black and Bella Black. Margaret will also be missed by her brother Laurence Boss and his wife, Eleanor, her sisters, Sarah Auren, Doreen Olson and, Sheryn Gummer and her husband, Don as well as many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service for Margaret will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, Manitoba with Father David Black of St. Timothy’s Charismatic Episcopal Church of Winnipeg, officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
