Obituary

Norman Lischynski, age 78, of Emerson, MB, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Altona Community Memorial Health Centre, Altona, MB.

Born January 18, 1944.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Sarah Adine Lischynski, three children Carl Lischynski, Judy (Bill) Marynowski, Brenda (Rob) Mydaniuk, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one brother Dennis (Steffie) Novak, one sister Irene Yarema, mother-in-Law Myrtle Thordarson, four brothers-in-law Reg Thordarson, Cyril (Shirley) Thordarson, Eggert (Lil) Thordarson, Mel (Donna) Thordarson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was pre deceased by his parents Helen and Jacob Novak, father-in-law Stefan Thordarson, granddaughter Carline, cousins, brother Roger Novak, and brother-in-law Walter Yarema.

Viewing will take place Friday, October 28, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with devotional to follow at 7:30 p.m.

The livestreamed funeral service will take place Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.
