Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom, memère, grand-maman Simone Michaud (neé Charrière), on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the age of 89.

Mom lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness. She touched so many hearts, and we are grateful for every precious memory.

She leaves behind her eight children: Yvette (John), Lucille (Pierre), Huguette (André), Lorraine (Jeff), Marcel, Pauline (Don), Denise (Don), and Paul (Leena), who will forever cherish her love and guidance. She was so proud of her 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren each of whom brought her immense joy.

Simone is also lovingly remembered by her brother Paul, her sister Thérèse, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Solas in 2021.

In keeping with mom’s wishes cremation has taken place.

A service to celebrate Mom’s life will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Boniface Cathedral, 180 De La Cathedrale Avenue, with reception to follow. A private interment will take place.
