Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Audrey Phyllis Pearse in Emerson, Manitoba at the age of 95, after a lengthy journey with dementia.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sandra (Gerald), Terry (Kim) and Jill (Rob). Grandchildren: Brooke (Brett), Angela (Ronnie), Amber (Ryan), Kirby (Jarrett), Cody (Krystle), Landon (Larissa), Kiley (Ashley), Destine (Brad), Taurean (Jenn), Colin (Meghan), Shea (Liz). Great-grandchildren: Braelynn, Brayden, Jeremy, Jordan, Averi, Quinn, Jaiden, Cohen, Brea, Paislee, Paxtyn, Kash, Hudson, Korbin, Easton, Colter and Devon. Also, many nieces and nephews.

Mom was predeceased by her husband, Stanley and all of her siblings. She was the last of the Smart Clan.

Mom was dedicated to her community. She was an avid golfer, curler and baseball player. She loved her crafts as we are sure everyone who knew her still have some of her creations.

We know she is in good hands and will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all the people whose lives she touched.

Audrey’s family would like to thank Dr. Terry and the staff at the Emerson Care Home for their care during her stay.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place this summer.
