Obituary

Clara Doerksen (nee Peterson), age 89, of Steinbach, MB passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre.

She is survived by five daughters: Lina (Maurice), Bev, Marilyn (Mitch), Marlene (Glen), Marie (Dan); three sons: Bert (Jackie), Fred (Phyllis), Marvin (Jasmine); 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter Doerksen, two sons: Peter & Raymond; and one daughter Daphne, and one son-in-law Raye.

Mom was a kind, caring, fun loving person who was always putting everyone first. She loved family gatherings. She also enjoyed the grandchildren’s sporting events, always supporting them and cheering them on. She also very much looked forward to her shopping trips with her daughters. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at Menisino Cemetery, Menisino, MB.
