Obituary

Anne passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018 with family by her side at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She will be lovingly remembered by Bill, husband of 21 years; her children: Edith (Steve) Skanes, Darrel (Claudette) Klassen, Reg (Vicki) Klassen, Susan Richard (Scott), and Colleen (Louis) Charriere; step-children: Phyllis McAteer (Zeb), Louis (Tromhan) Bukar, Lloyd (Shawna) Unrau, Dorothy (James) Raffan; eighteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Anne was a devoted wife, loving mother and dear friend to many. She loved the lord and actively served him all her life. She had an incredible gift and passion for music and devoted much of her life to leading and singing in church and various other groups. She was a talented artist and enjoyed travelling. Anne treasured her children and grandchildren and faithfully prayed for each of them every day.

A viewing service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The celebration of life will take place Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB.
