Sandy Watt, age 72, of Niverville passed away after a prolonged lung illness on November 3, 2018 at Grace Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Heather; his three children: Cameron (Karen) Watt (Jessica, Jordon), Sheri (Ken) Dinnin (Chelsea), Sean (Maria) Watt (Sara); two step-sons Graham (Tanis) Kane (Krista), and James (Niki) Kane (Bronwyn). He also leaves two sisters Joanne (Lenny) Leven and Leslie (Bill) Olson and many nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his parents John and Margaret Watt.
Sandy worked in the pre-press graphic arts industry his entire life. Alongside his partner Jan Orihel they founded Magna Tech Graphics and ran it for 29 years. His passion for his work was only surpassed by his passion for his children, golf and hockey.
A celebration of life will be held in his honour on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Millar officiating, at the Niverville Heritage Center, 111 2nd Ave. South, Niverville. (Parking at rear of building.) A light lunch will be served. A private family interment will take place later at Green Acres Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sandy may be made to The Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
