Obituary

On Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, after multiple strokes, Stuart passed away.

Stuart was born in Victoria, B.C., on Sept. 8, 1961. He was raised in West Kildonan. He graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate Institute in 1978. He worked at Manitoba Public Insurance for 23 years and has many friends there. Stuart spent all his life in Winnipeg, growing up in West Kildonan. He spent his summers in Gimli and Riding Mountain National Park. He was a fan of cars and took great pride in any vehicle he owned. He loved animals, reading, cooking and took great interest in other people’s lives. Upon his death, Stuart helped many people through organ donation.

Stuart was predeceased by his brother Michael and stepmother Missy Francey.

Stuart will be missed by his mother Carole Trush, stepfather Larry Trush; father George Francey; siblings Darren (Michele), niece Marina and nephew Connor; Kelly Malowski (Doug); and Sean (Shannon), nephews Riley and Reese.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Funeral Service on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg.
