Obituary

Abram (Abe) Dyck, age 91, of Niverville, MB, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Pierre Hospital, St. Pierre, MB.

Abe was married to the love of his life and best friend, Mary. Together they had six children: Janice(Bill), Marg (Jack), Ruth(Rod), Joyce, Rosie(Terry) and Marty(Roberta).

He was predeceased by granddaughter Allyn and many siblings and friends.

Abe’s life was a wonderful example of love for God, his family, and ministry. Abe had the gift of evangelism, which was often displayed through his song choices, his conversations with people, his daily Bible reading and prayers.

Abe was also gifted musically, and he used his voice and guitar playing to bless and minister to many people.

Abe was blessed by all the friends and family who showed their love and support while visiting during his numerous hospital stays in the past few years, and surprising him with his favorite coffee and Salisbury House donuts.

The viewing will be Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Niverville Word of Life, Niverville, MB, with a viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Abe may be made to Union Gospel Mission, PO Box 1073; Stn. Main; Winnipeg., MB R3C 2X4.
