Obituary

On Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the St Boniface Hospital, John F. Loeppky, of Niverville, MB., peacefully passed away at the age of 87 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen of 56 years, his brother Cornie and a sister in infancy.

He leaves to mourn his passing his two daughters: Rose Fast (Garry) granddaughter Jane, (Jesse) Omoto, great-grandchildren, Gloria & Edwin and grandson Chris Fast; Marlene (Kevin) Stott, grandson John (Macailyn) great-grandchildren Juliette, Emery & Jordan and granddaughter Liz Stott.

John was born July 21, 1937 to Maria and John F. Loeppky of Niverville and attended the Kingswood school.

He married the love of his life Helen Friesen on July 12, 1959. At the age of 19, he began farming in the Niverville area working together with his brothers Cornie and Abe operating as Loeppky Brothers and Loeppky Custom Harvesters. Dad loved farming and was passionate about sugar beets. He got involved in the industry serving on the local sugar beet board and was a 4H sugar beet club leader.

Dad loved the Lord and was baptized in his faith May 17, 1959. He served faithfully as a deacon in the CMC Niverville church for many years as well as the Mission Board among others.

The memorial service will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 2: 00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with interment prior to the service at noon at Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville, MB.
