Obituary

Lorraine Eva (Skryba) Sawatsky, of Steinbach, MB, went to her forever home in Heaven to be with Jesus, on Friday, August 24, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Roseau, Minnesota on December 18, 1960 to Walter and Lena (Andrusiak) Skryba, of Sandilands, MB, formerly of Piney, MB.

Lorraine leaves to mourn her husband Henry, whom she met in Steinbach and then married on July 20, 1985. Also surviving Lorraine are her parents, her two sisters Gladys (Ronnie) Bugera, Joanie (Ron) Rougeau, two nieces Teri-Lyn and Leona, one nephew Russell, two great-nieces Alexis and Zoe-Rae, as well as two great-nephews Logan and Jackson. She was looking forward to meeting her newest great-niece in December 2018.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with a viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
